Cheap runs in my blood. It has run in the family blood for centuries. I had originally moved to Flickr, but it tops out at 200 pictures. Then you have to buy a yearly subscription. It has advertising all over the pages, but they still want you to buy their services. I'm too cheap and poor to do that, so I'm moving back to DeviantArt. Hopefully in between me starting a new career (going to truck driving school starting Monday) and moving, I'll have time to work on new art. I've been on the fence for awhile about leaving DA because of a lot of things I disagree with. Their commercialization of the website in particular is what would drive me away as reason #1. I understand they are a business and most of us are free users, however, sacrificing the website's previous good programming for craptastic menus and the collection bar (drag and drop :+fav: art) is a travesty! Thank goodness for Firefox's AdBlockPlus otherwise I'd be inundated with ads and the viruses they carry. Yes, AVG has gotten a work out saving my computer from trojans from DA's ads. How wonderful.
